A little background
Since its foundation in 2002, the company has gained a position as a preferred supplier of specialized resources and education that assist organizations in reaching their goals. That is because we offer a group of committed, compliance wise and highly educated professionals with start-up and sustaining operations experience.
On March 20, 2018 ECHO merged with PharmaLex, a worldwide provider of development consulting, regulatory affairs, quality management & compliance and pharmacovigilance, epidemiology & risk management. Our new larger organization will allow us the opportunity to accelerate growth by providing existing clients as well as new clients in new markets and locations, a wider array of services as well as more depth.
The company was the vision of its founders (graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, with majors in Mechanical Engineering) Walquiria Polanco and Limaris Alvarado. They possess over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry in areas that include process validation, cleaning validation, validation master planning, technology transfer, product filing and launch, Project Management, regulatory compliance, investigations, commissioning and qualification.
Walquiria and Limaris identified a void around training and education related to highly technical and specialized topics and concepts. Hence, they brought to the island well known and established international speakers from such fields. A natural by -product of this initiative were requests from companies to offer the actual technical service that was being taught, but at their manufacturing sites. “Seize the opportunity and dip dive unto the challenge” was their immediate decision and course of action. They understood that technical and continued education for the professionals within this industry is fundamental.
ECHO Consulting Group also contributes to the community and the local economy through the creation and maintenance of career opportunities. Currently, the company has gained a position as a preferred supplier of specialized resources that assist organizations in reaching their goals.
We also count in our talent pool with Project Leaders or Project Managers that can be used to head the team assigned to your project and be the primary interface and liaison between the ECHO and client representative. Each of these resources has a proven track record of successfully managing and completing complex and large-scale projects. Their Project Management experience is vast.
